Planning, Pricing, and Harvesting are the rules to follow.
PLANNING
One of our foresters will meet you on your property to discuss different options for your timber. Options may vary depending on the age, species, quality, and size of your timber. During this time we will determine how much timber you want to harvest and where on the tract you want the harvest to take place.
PRICING
This step is based upon: 1.Timber Cruise, 2.Tract Setup, 3.Logging Conditions and 4. Marketing of the timber.
- Your Timber Cruise is based upon measurements of trees and acreage. These measurements will reveal the amount of timber volume and the grade of the timber.
- Tract Setup" will determine streamside management zones, road layout, and erosion control barriers based upon the guidelines recommended by the North Carolina General Assembly.
